SUICIDE SURVIVOR SUPPORT: Need support after the death of a loved one to suicide? The Mental Health & Recovery Board of Portage County and the Portage County Suicide Prevention Coalition sponsor a free survivor support group, which meets the last Wednesday of each month. It is open to families and others who have lost loved ones through suicide.The term "survivor" refers to those close to the person who has died due to suicide. Meetings will start at 6:30 p.m. and run until 8 p.m. Persons interested in attending are welcome to participate in discussion or simply listen. Members can attend on a regular basis or join the group when they are able. There is no cost. The meetings will be held at the Mental Health & Recovery Board office, 155 E. Main St., Kent.
